Load data is the single most important data that the utility can use in order to plan the distribution system. This focus has led Root 3 to specialize in load data research and forecasting.

Root 3 has developed innovative and cutting edge algorithms to analyze load data which allows for medium and long range load forecasts and load data analysis in ways that have never been done before. These new techniques show better results and give more information than any other known methodologies. Root 3's ATILDA methodology allow us to convert massive amounts of SCADA and AMI data into a mathematical equation which can be more readily used and interpreted by humans and computer software algorithms.

The fundamental aspiration of Root 3 is to help utilities improve distribution system performance, increase asset utilization and to prepare them for Smart Grid by providing information about the most critical data necessary for being prepared for the future.
